All organizations have had their operations seriously impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic; Keene State College is no exception. As we bring people to campus to learn, work and live together, we face a "new normal" of routinely protecting ourselves and our community from the coronavirus using specific precautions. This "new normal" will change the way we work together, but by following those precautions, we will be able to fulfill our educational mission as a liberal arts college.

This course provides information about Keene State's expectations for its faculty, staff, students and visitors to keep our community safe and healthy. Specifically, we will discuss:

why managing the Covid concern requires a new approach to our work;
specific precautions we expect everyone to observe while they are on campus; and
how we can help each other observe these precautions.

Keene State has specific advantages in addressing this challenge:
- We are a relatively small campus with a diverse set of expertise and experience in our community.

- We live and work in a small city that actively supports the College in many ways.

- And we have a strong tradition of community service that allows us to do our work while protecting the health of our community.
